Happy Birthday Grant!!

This year for Grant's birthday, I was just going to invite a couple of friends over for "Cake and Ice Cream"...yeah right! This ended up being so much more than just a cake and ice cream party! Grant had so much fun though!

His "theme" was Backyardigans...which goes against everything I ever thought i'd stand for when it came to kids birthdays...but how can you deny the lit of face of a child who just spotted "Pablo plates", and wants them desperately for his party!
Here he is saying "thank you" after opening up all his presents...Question: How do you all feel about saving the presents for after everyone leaves? I have mixed feelings about this, but opening presents is craziness with all of the kids at your feet trying to get in on the action!
On his actual birthday, we went to Islands for some free birthday dinners!! Thanks Jane for the links! Sam and I had ours from February, and with Grants, all we paid for were fries and Logan! Best way to go!

Happy 90th Birthday Grandma!!

On February 2nd (Groundhogs Day) my Grandma celebrated her 90th Birthday!!
In honor of the big day, Sam and I thought it would be a awesome gift for Drew and I to head out for a visit...so, last Friday, I said goodbye to the boys, and Drew and I hopped on a plane to Missouri to surprise"Great Grandma Smith"!
When we walked in the door, she hardly saw me past the "BABY"!! Good thing all the passengers on the plane warned me that I would be chump change when she set her eyes on Drew...don't I know it!! I don't think she took her eyes off of him the entire weekend! And everytime we walked through the Terrace (retirement center she lives in) she introduced him to all of her friends!!

Here is a picture of the 4 generations!! I love it!!

I really couldn't be more happy, that I was able to make it out for such a great celebration! Thank you Sam, for supporting the trip...and Momma and Uncle Eddie, for letting us tag along!90years...can you imagine?! What a life!!

Happy Birthday Grandma!
We love you SO much!

BTW...if you are reading this...Grandma was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday with Pnemonia...so please keep her in your prayers. We want to blog her 100th birthday party too!

Yep...they are THAT cute!

OMG! When I snapped this picture, of all 3 boys actually looking at the camera smiling, I was SO excited! If you've ever watched me attempt this, you'd understand why...until today, it was impossible! Today is Drew's 6 week birthday! I can't believe he is already 6 weeks old! Time is already flying by...and the boys are doing so good adjusting to their new baby brother!
He is such a sweet baby! Doesn't he just look like it!

Ladies Man...

The first thing people say when they see Drew is..."he's SO small"...I don't think its that he's really all that small, he was already at 8lbs 5oz at his appointment last week, I think its just that this time goes by SO quickly that we forget just how little and precious new babies are...so as hard as it is with 3 boys to care for now, i'm trying my hardest to savor every second of this newborn stage, cause I know in the blink of an eye he is going to be running around this house with his big brothers!
There is just something about a sleeping baby that is so peaceful, don't you think?
I just love pictures of my babies sleeping...so I have alot of them!
Anybody want to put their two cents in as to who he looks like?
I love hearing what everyone else's opinion!

Thank you Memaw...

The past two weeks have been amazing...after Drew was born, Sam took off a week to be home with the boys and I, and this week, my mom took off to stay with us! On Friday we said our goodbyes to Memaw, in time to have a weekend with daddy...and then, on Monday November 5th, I am officially on my own! So, if you remember...pray for us!
This is a shot of the boys "giving Memaw love", before she got on the road! As soon as she stood up Grant ran to the door to block it, arms and legs spread! It would've made for a great picture, unfortunately the camera was already put away.
Thanks Mom, aka:Memaw for all your help this week...we miss you already!

See you soon Uncle Josh...

On Thursday, my mom and Veronica woke up extra early to drive Uncle Josh to the airport...he recently reinlisted in the Navy, so first things first, he has to go get all his things in order in Great Lakes. Since we don't even know if he'll come home before he is shipped off to who knows where, I tried to get a picture of him and his 3 precious nephews. Not an easy task!
Keeping our fingers crossed that we'll get in one more visit before you head out...but if we don't...know that we love you, and are SO proud of you! See you soon!
